Maintenance Manager required for large commercial building in North London. in the Operations Department 8am -5pm Monday - Friday
Main purpose of the job:
To facilitate Hard FM activities undertaking the functional technical and management aspects of the FM contract with respect to planned* reactive maintenance, minor project work and the Forward Capital Maintenance Programme requirements. To provide and promote a customer focused Hard FM department, manage all directly employed maintenance trades staffand subcontracted labour in their duties, responsible for the implementation of planned maintenance regimes and setting up of the FM management system, to oversee all aspects of Hard FM, including mechanical, fabric and estates issues, to manage resource requirements for the Hard FM service, to hold responsibility for adherence to operational budgets for Hard FM services. To prepare and agree quotes with the client, To liaise with Procurement department with regards to negotiating with suppliers, To assist in the development of capital replacements programmes of plant, equipment and fabric in line with technological developments and PPM best practice. Take a part in the reactive maintenance, out of hours, on-call roster. To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company`s Health & Safety Policy Statement, Manual and Safe Systems of Work. BTEC, HNC or HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineeringor general building services, with building* maintenance related professional qualification. Hold full clean driving licence
